How to set/ change Password in Windows 10 ?
Step 1 :
First, you need to click on to the Start button given at the lower left corner of your Windows 10 system.
Step 2 :
Once you click on to the Start button, a new menu will be presented to you. From the given menu, you need to select the Settings option.

In the Settings menu, at the last, you could see Accounts option. Click on to the Accounts option from here.

There you could see Sign In option. Make sure to click on to that option.

Here, you could see Change button under the Password option. Make sure to click on to the Change button.

In order to change your existing Password, you have to enter your current Password. After entering your current Password, you just need to click on to the Sign In button.
Step 7 :
Now, just like a smartphone, Microsoft will send you a new code to your mobile number which is associated with your account. You need to confirm the last four digits of your Mobile phone and then hit the Verify button.
Step 8 :
In a few seconds, you will receive a new Passcode as a text message on your mobile phone.
Step 9 :
On the PC, you need to enter the four digits passcode which is sent to your phone number.
Step 10 :
After entering the right code, a new Page will be presented to you. Here, you need to enter the old Password and then in the other two options, you need to enter the new Password which you want to change.
Step 11 :
“You’ve successfully changed your Password.” You will be greeted with this message on your Windows 10 screen which means your Password has been changed with a new one.
So folks, this is how you can change your Windows 10 Account Password. If you don’t want to keep a Password in letters and want to change it with a PIN, Windows 10 allows you to change your Password with a PIN code as well. There is an option of PIN available in your Accounts option.
How to change Password with PIN in Windows 10?
In order to change your Windows 10 Password to a PIN code, you just need to follow the same steps mentioned above. Just go to the Accounts section within the Settings option by following above steps.
Within the Sign In options page, you could see two different options, Password and PIN. Click on to the Add button given below the PIN option.
Now, the system will ask you to first Sign In with your existing Windows 10 account. You have to sign into your system before the system allows you to change the Password. Once you are signed in with your Password, a new Setup a PIN page will be presented to you.
You need to enter the PIN which you want to keep as a Passcode for your Windows 10 account. Yes, you don’t need to worry about it as your Password will be changed with a PIN code after this. To confirm the PIN, you need to re-enter the PIN into the given field. Once you are done with it, just click the Ok button.
You’re done with the process! You’ve successfully changed your Password to PIN code for your Windows 10 account. By now, you can use this new PIN code to sign into your Microsoft’s account.
Apart from this, Microsoft’s Windows 10 system also allows you to keep a Picture as a Password for your account. Yes, you heard that right. You can put a picture to your account as a Password. So whenever you are about to sign into your account, you need to choose the right picture from the given options and you will be allowed to sign into your Microsoft’s account for the Windows 10 system.

How to change Windows 10 Password to a Picture Password ?
To set or to change your Windows 10 Password to a Picture Password, all you have to do is just follow the above mentioned steps wisely and bring the Sign In Options window to your Windows 10 system.
Within the Sign In options, under the PIN option, you could see Picture Password option. Click the Add button given under the Picture Password.
You will be greeted with a Password page with a welcome message. Make sure to enter your current Microsoft’s account here and then hit the Ok button at the end to sign into your system.
The next page will show you Choose Picture button. Click on tot his button and you will be allowed to choose the right picture for your system.
You can see two different options here from which you need to select Choose this picture or Choose new picture option. You can either choose this option, or can select a new picture from your system.
You will be asked to setup three gesture on the picture to set it as a Password. You can draw lines or circle which will be your Password.
Once you setup the Picture Password, you will be greeted with a Congratulations! message on your system. Now, whenever you want to sign into your account, a picture will be presented to you. You need to draw a gesture using your mouse and you will be signed into your Microsoft’s account.
