You might be wondering if it is possible to clear and delete Google history or web history from the browser so that no one can actually see what we have searched recently. There are many ways with which we can simply remove or clear or delete Google Search History completely from all the associated accounts. How to Delete Your Google History Completely

Step 1 :

First, you have to launch a preferred web browser application on a respective PC system. Since we are using Google Chrome web browser, kindly select the icon of Google Chrome from the Desktop or you can launch it from the Start menu for Windows users or from the Applications section for Mac systems. Launch the browser first.


Step 2 :

Now, you have to navigate to Clear History option from the web browser. Beside the address bar of your Chrome browser, you would see a three lined button. Kindly select this button.


Step 3 :

After this, go to the Settings option and then select History option. If you are using a Mac system, you’d see History option above the Address bar.

Step 4 :

Select Clear Browsing data option from here. This will ask you what to delete in the history section with a drop down menu. This drop down menu will show you plenty of options about the history which you have searched for. Make sure you select the right options to delete the history from the Google Chrome browser.

Step 5 :

From here, you can even allow you delete the cookies and other cache memory from the browser. There will be all the options available in the drop down menu which is just presented to you.

Step 6 :

Once you select everything, you just need to select Clear browsing data button given at the end of the window. This will delete everything selected from the menu completely.

Step 7 :

Apart from this, if you just want to delete the Search history of the Google web browser  directly you need to make sure that you’re signed into your Google account. If not, kindly sign in now by entering a respective gmail account and put your password there.

Step 8 :

Just follow the link mentioned below once. This will take you to the history page of the browser.




Step 9 :

By selecting the above link, you will be presented a page which shows all the history which you have searched with time and date. You can even search for anything by selecting the Search box given at the top of the page. You can select particular items from the page as well to delete them from the history of your Google Chrome browser.


Note :  You will find various options like the past hour, the past day, the past week, the last 4 weeks and the beginning of time. Choose whatever you want from this menu to delete it out.

Step 10 :

Once you’re done with everything, select Clear browsing data option.

Step 11 :

This will prompted a drop down menu with all the options to delete various items from your Google Chrome web browser. Just select the items from the page and delete a required items from there.

Note : You can launch History page by pressing Control+ H button as well.

So folks, this is how you can delete your Google History completely. By doing so, all the history will be deleted from all the devices associated with the same gmail account. Make sure you select the right options before hitting the Clear browsing history option.
