Calendar at the Sidebar of the Reminders app show you which reminders are pending. If you want to see the pending reminders, all you have to do is just click on the mentioned date and it will show you the pending reminders in the Window.

5. Add List button 

This button will add you to create a new list of Reminders using the app. Just click on to the + button given there and it will allow you to create a new list of reminders. You will also be able to put the name and other information of the new list from there.

6. Reminders  



At the right side, you could see the original Reminders set by you. Since you are just starting this app, there will be an empty Window on the screen and there is no any reminder available there.

7. Add new Reminder 

This button allows you to add an instant Reminder to the Reminders app. You will see this button at the top upper side of the main Window. Just click the + button to add an instant reminder to the application and this is how you can get started with this application on a Mac system.

How to Create a Reminder on Mac System

Step 1 :

Open Reminders app from the Dock from the Applications on a Mac system.

Once you select the + button, you would be asked to create your new Reminder from here. You could see different boxes to enter details of the reminder.

Step 1 :

First, launch the Reminders application on your Mac system from the Dock.

Step 2 :

You would be presented with the homepage of the Reminders application.

From the sidebar, click on to Add List button.

How to Rename an Existing List in Reminders on Mac

Step 1 :

Step 1 :

Open Reminders app from the Dock or from the Applications on a Mac system.

Just select the list which you want to delete and right click on to it.

Step 4 :

A new menu will be presented to you from which you need to select the Delete option.

This will instantly delete the selected list from the Reminders app.

How to move a list to other list in Reminders on Mac

Step 1 :

Make sure to launch the Reminders app from the Dock or from the Applications.

Step 2 :

On the main Window at the left sidebar, you could see a list of all the lists of your reminders which you have previously setup in the app.

From here, just click on the Reminder’s list which you want to move.

Step 4 :

By clicking and holding the list, drag it out to the final list where you want to place it.



How to add Account Provider in Reminders on Mac

Step 1 :

Open Reminders application from the Dock or from the Applications on a Mac system.



Step 2 :

Now, go to the Menu bar of Reminders from the upper side.

Step 3 :

Once you move your cursor to Reminders in the Menu bar, a new menu will be popped. From the menu, you need to select Add Account option.

Step 4 :

A list of Reminders accounts will be presented to you. From here, you need to select the account which you like to add as Reminders account. For instance, you can select the iCloud’s account by selecting the bullet icon.

After choosing the account, select Continue option.

Step 6 :

Make sure to add proper credentials of the account which you like to add such as username or Apple ID and other required details.

Once you enter the details, click the Sign In button.

Step 8 :

You could see a list of accounts there. Make sure to select your accounts which you like to get used by the Reminders app in future.

Step 9 :

After selecting the list of accounts, click the Add Account button.

How to Schedule a due date in Reminders on Mac

Step 1 :

First, launch the Reminders app on your Mac system from the Dock or from the Applications.

Step 2 :

On the main Reminders’ Window, at the right side, you could see your reminders. Click on the info button given besides the Reminder.

Step 3 :

A new menu will be presented to you from which you need to select On a day option.

Step 4 :

You need to Enter the date for the selected Reminder.

Step 5 :

After entering the date, enter proper timing for the Reminder.

Step 6 :

Once you are done with it, click on the Done button and that’s all!
